If you ever wonder how to download a You tube movie go to:
http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php
Just copy and paste the link of the youtube site and download. Rename the "get_video" file to <something>.flv
You're gonna need a flv player to play the movie file. Download it go to:

thanks you alex , since you mentioned about downloading youtube movie file, i would also like to share mine as well
use only the website , this is easy and selectable file type as avi for windows, mov for mac, mp4 for ipod/psp, 3GP for mobile phone.

how to use , just copy the link of youtube, paste on the column.
the vixy will produce a download windows for you to save your file.
then you can use any program which support avi, mov, mp4 and 3gp for viewing.

wow.. even better than mine... i was just wanted to share a program that can convert youtube files to few formats that SKY mentioned... now this is more convenient as you won't need to do so many complicated steps with my way of converting the video... =P

I think there is no harm in sharing the program anyway... Here's the software to convert most of the video format even for phone...

All you need to do is find the youtube file which is named "getvideo...xxx "
then convert it using the software... that's why it's kinda complicating...
the website that SKY mentioned is easier to use.. |
