Event: FeiYang Symphonic Band in Concert 2007
Theme of Event: The Colours of Music
People who have attend: All FYSB musician/ members
People who absent: FYSB members who studying in oversea n some busying with working in local or oversea
Description of Event: A wonderful concert that organise by all FYSB members at 18.08.2007
Impression:-
First of all, I would like to appreciate all concert committees, who have put their full effort in this concert, MAP conductors(Mitsuyoshi, Alex, and Peik Hoon), stage crew, audio and lighting group, and all of the supporters of this concert.. Because of your efforts, then v only can have a wonderful concert at 18.08.2007, this memorable day..
Erm, without wasting the time, I would like to start my impression of this wonderful night.. :)
Before the concert, I really didn't have a good practice habit at home.. Erm, but after that... Really have to thanks Peik Hoon and Alvin, because two of them is totally taking my practice mood back.. I just remember back in one day, they suddently treat me very straight... n say me didnt take up my responsibility n commitment well as a musician... N that time i was also been 'kick' to Band 2 from Band 1, cause of didn't come to practice in one whole month... :cry:
After that, I'm also just practice awhile only at home without any concerntration... And then, until I met with Moo Chun Hoong, our trumpet principal player, every day when practice, he seems like wanna kill me that time... Wow... (But, I also wanna appreciate them, because of your scolding, then i can pick up back my mood to practice my songs...) After that, I think that i really have to take my commitment back... I've chant n chant in front of Gohonzon... I promise myself that i really cant b lazy already... Then, I started practice with concerntration... Take back the basic skills n others stuffs... I'm started practice 3-4hours per day, compare with last time, juz 1-2hours and try to play every single notes with accurately, clearly, and precisely...
Besides that, i have take my free time to chant for this concert oso, so that it can b success n all players can have a healthy life... But, unfortunately, i'm falling sick at one week before concert... Haihz... But still ok la..
Erm, at that actual day, I really can see the good results infront of us... I can really see the improvement of the band... All people are taking all of their efforts to playing their parts... Especially some songs, such as Carpenters Forever, Clarinet Concerto, October, Singapore Rhapsody... These songs really touch my heart... I feel like wanna get dance.. Haha.. Especially when Band 1 players playing Carpenters Forever... Fuyoh... I have a lots of feedback from the audience.. They also said Carpenters Forever is the best song that they listen, really touch their hearts... After the concert, I also have meet up with my friends, this makes me really happy.. Especially my 'Xiu La Ba' Group(Trumpeters) from PGFY!!! Haha.. I really appreciate for their coming...

In this time of concert, we really have a lots of good songs, such as Carpenters Forever, Singapore Rhapsody, Clarinet Concerto... Not only we have good pieces, but we also have good players, such as Wei Chung n others... I really have to appreciate to these people who had select these pieces for us and the good playrs, because of 'u', v only can have this successful concert... Secondly, I've some suggestions and ideas here, I don't know that did u all agree with it or not..
1. Next time, when concert, i think no need use any of microphone..(because it will cause the sound projection b spoiled..)
2. About the costume, in my idea, I think v better use back tie for boys n for girls, the lace things, i think is suitable.. I think this will looks more good.. Don't u all agree with it???
At last, I would like to give a sentence to all members in FYSB.. "Practice makes perfect" to end my topic, TQ!!! Erm... (about my comments, it's juz my ideas and suggestions only, plz dun mind what i said..)
